  Incredible stay in Valença do Douro

  Liked: Everything was perfect. House is gourgeous, super comfortable, two spacious bedrooms, wonderful shower, washing mashing very convenient and kitchen well equipped for cooking for a group of four. Pool was lovely too, but due to the weather we were able only to enjoy sunbathing. LOVED IT!

  Disliked: I loved everything about it. If you have any consideration regarding the way going up/down to the house, don’t let it prevent you from booking this lovely house. The first time you’re going to the house may seem difficult, but it’s actually quite safe and ok, you just have to get used to it:)

  Liked: Beautiful house to stay in Duoro. Will appointed with all the necessary amenities. Lovely views across the valley. Some nice local walks. A great escape from the towns below.

  We had a one night stay but definitely recommend longer stay. Would love to come back!

  Liked: 5 star quality in a quiet beautiful location, yet very close to Pinhao. Spacious, private, beautiful.

  Disliked: Not applicable to me but just a caution to those who may not be comfortable to hill driving. Arrive in the daylight so that you can get used to the route.

  Stunning property

  Liked: Truly outstanding. Beautiful property and grounds.Spotlessly clean. Super effective air con and 3 bathrooms to choose between. Hot water was instant and plentiful. The pool is one of the cleanest we've used. The views from the property are fabulous. It is so peaceful and completely private. You do get used to the tiny approach roads. The host Laurence was extremely helpful and his communication was always prompt and clear. It is a 10 minute drive to Pinhao for a reasonable selection of restaurants. Just be aware many of them are only open for lunch despite what Google tells you!! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

  We were very happy with our stay here

  Liked: A lovely place to stay. We became used to the narrow lanes through the village and looked forward to returning to the very comfortable accommodation with great views and pool after a day exploring the beautiful Douro valley. It was an excellent centre for a visit to this region.
