  Liked: This is a charming rustic home away from home. It is nice and a little remote which was perfect for trip. But it is a short walk from Ponte De Lima, a vibrant small town. We loved that it had the comforts and space of a larger property but the thoughtful quaint touches of an old European country house. Paulo was amazing to work with from before we even landed. Really liked the kitchen, the outdoor seating, the pool and the showers!

  Disliked: No downsides for us. Maybe not suitable if you have access issues with the stairs and hills

  Wonderful house with a great location

  Liked: Great location in a beautiful, quiet, walkable neighborhood. The house is fully restored and very cozy. The beds were exceptionally comforable and it was a 15 minute walk to the city center. Parking was convenient and it was an easy drive to Ponte de Lima and the surrounding areas. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. I would highly recommend this house.

  Lovely stay in Ponte de Lima

  Liked: The location is great, a 15 minute walk to the busy part of Ponte de Lima. The house itself is stunning, so much history and Paulo is a very interesting and lovely host. We were warmly welcomed by Paulo, his wife and his dog Pepe upon arriving at the property. Paulo had gifted us with some local wine, bread & cheese which was such a lovely touch. Paulo as a host couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations, taxi arranging and even gave us a lift so we could go canyoning. Loved our stay here.

  Disliked: There's honestly not much to dislike, the only slight issue I had is the pool is not completely private but it only bothered me because I'm shy.

  Lovely house, lovely host, lovely area, recommend highly

  Liked: A super place to stay whilst watching the Ponte de Lima Festival of the horse. Easy to walk into town over the wonderful Roman bridge. Host was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Will stay again in this beautiful house.
