  Wonderful stay in Ponte de Lima

  Liked: Well appointed, clean, modern and quiet apartment overlooking a golf course. The apartment had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a clothes washer. No dryer, but a large drying rack. It had a new looking microwave and a traditional oven as well as an induction cooktop. Large frig. Three bedrooms - two with double beds and one with a single bed. Two full baths. One double bed was slightly longer than the other, so our taller friend got the longer bed. Heating from many radiator type heaters (not needed in October). A/C and heat in the large living room from a wall mounted heat pump. Fast internet and cable TV included. Location was excellent, with a short drive into town. A spur of the Camino passes through a nearby roadway so there's a marked trail, downhill into town. The host went out of his way to be helpful. I had an eye problem and he spent a lot of time arranging an urgent ophthalmology appointment at a private clinic in Braga. I would definitely come back.

  Disliked: Indirect A/C in bedrooms (from living room) but not needed while we were there. Plenty of fans provided.

  Just what we needed

  Liked: Was great lay out apartment and perfect for our family as a stop gap in moving to ponte de lima, great to be able to use the kitchen facilities and relax in an evening, but peaceful setting with magical views….will happily suggest to visitors

  Great golf vacation in Ponte de Lima

  Liked: We stayed 3 weeks at this flat and we were very pleased with everything. It is well appointed, well decorated and the view to the back-9 holes of the golf course is very nice. Very comfortable. It is walking distance to the golf club and the hotel next to the flat allowed us to use their indoor pool for a minimal charge. Parking on the premises is no problem. The neighbors were nice to us. Quiet area. The town of Ponte de Lima as well as all supermarkets and restaurants are a 5 to 10 minute drive. You can also walk to the golf club's restaurant at night as it is opened for dinner.

  Disliked: We enjoyed everything.
