Very good
Liked: Everything was great! The owner made us feel at home. The apartment was very spacious, well located, and had air conditioning in the rooms. What we liked most was the welcoming atmosphere and how comfortable our stay was 😊
Modern apartment in the historic centre, with all you need
Liked: Beautifully modernised apartment in the historic centre of Portalegre, just a few minutes walking to the main church and commercial street. I booked the apartment for my mother and a sibling and they felt very comfortable - my mother really loved it.
Disliked: There’s nothing we didn’t like! The check-in information could have been made available sooner, but once it got sent everything was very clear and easy. Maybe a lamp in the living room for the evenings would be nice, as the main lights are very bright, but I really can’t complain about anything, it’s a great apartment!
Host should have left the portable AC on before we arrived
Liked: The location and the communication with the host. There was tea and coffee selection for us. I would just suggest to add a bottle of water as amenity, for when the guests arrive, specially if you arrive during the night and everything is already closed.
Disliked: Our flat was located on the second floor and when we arrived in the night was extremely hot inside.. we couldn’t sleep. I saw there was AC and that’s why we booked this flat, but once we arrived we realised it was just one portable AC in the room and there’s no doors between the room and the living room, so that AC never refrigerated the entire area enough. I was sleeping in the sofa-bed and it was unbearable even though there was a fan pointed towards me the entire night. Also, the carpets were not washed properly before we arrived and below the bed there was a lot of dust.
Liked: A nice location, within the centre. A spacious comfortable apartment equipped with everything necessary. WiFi working very well.
Disliked: Everything was all right. There are rather steep stairs to the second floor, for some people this may be difficult.
Liked: This is a very clean and recently renovated unit. The private patio is a quiet space to enjoy morning coffee or end of day wine. We were very pleased with our stay. Friendly hospitality and even wine in a decanter to get our visit started. Thank you
Very nice place
Liked: This apartment is very well located to make trips in the area - its a 5 minute walk from town centre and restaurants are nearby. The apartment is equipped with all you need incl washing machine, coffee maker, fridge and sufficient plates and cutlery. The house was presented to us very clean and the host is very kind and helpful. The carpark is down the road aprox 250m away. The patio is very nice to relax after a busy day. Shops are nearby, a few minutes drive. Highly recommended, very good value for money
