Exceptional
Relaxing and quiet in the heart of town
Liked: Quiet, comfortable room. Great bed, great shower. We had a suite on a special deal so it was nice to have a sofa and that living space. The pool and spa were closed while we were there which we knew about in advance but the beautiful garden was open which we enjoyed as it was still hot and sunny. Very good breakfast and lovely staff.
Disliked: The scented sticks were a bit much - I had to put them outside. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room and perhaps a little information of what was available on site in terms of wine, snacks etc. But these are very small things - we had a great stay.
Very handy and comfortable location to city
Liked: Great people and breakfast was superb. It was is in walking distance to the museums and other attractions. Great wine cellar with local cooler climate reds and whites.
Disliked: Portalegre roads are narrow.
Liked: Lovely ambience, helpful staff, easy access, good breakfast. Nice wine cellar and a café is also attached, good for a coffee or glass of wine and snack.
