Beautiful historic property and helpful staff
Liked: Historical and beautifully furnished.
Disliked: Swimming pool could do with a little more attention but then we were late in the season and at one point we were the only guests!
Quiet retreat for hikers with a nice pool

Liked: This is a truly special property. I loved all the fruit trees and the remains of the historic building as well as the displays of items used once upon a time ago. The pool was perfection! The staff exceptional! Easy drive up to Marvao.
Very quiet and out of the way, but easy to find and the hotel was signposted
Liked: Quiet and out of the way but the countryside gave you a feeling of peace. Very pleased we did not have to drive anywhere to eat in the evenings there was a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Liked: Beautiful property, convenient for Portalegre but in a peaceful setting. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Good quality breakfast. Large room. Pool was a bonus to cool down in the afternoon. Good private parking. The common areas to relax in.
