Liked: The property's location was perfect—close to all the amenities and within easy reach of everything we needed.

Disliked: Access could have been smoother. While there was a lockbox at the building entrance, there wasn't one at the apartment itself. If a lockbox had been provided there as well, we wouldn't have had to wait for someone to let us in.

  Great location, needs maintenance

Liked: This is in the village center, so everything is close by. The balcony was very nice to have a drink at the end of the day.

Disliked: The apartment feels dated. The bath tub has a hole in it, that was repaired, but you can feel the bottom of the tub reeling under you. The bed is very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs, so you end up waking up with pain on your body.

Well equipped apartment in great location

Liked: Incredible location. 50m from main square with Christopher Columbus House & church; 300m from the pier & beach. Central but still pretty quiet. Well equipped. Great shower. Airy. Sea view from all windows. Balcony has sun in afternoon. Felt secure on 1st floor with key entry to complex. Great communication with host.

Disliked: We went at end of hottest summer, sea temperature 25°C & so was very hot at night. Really needed air conditioning after we have had 16 days on Madeira in air conditioned accommodation. There were very minor issues which were rapidly resolved by the host. That is the only reason I have marked down the ‘comfort’.
