  Nice relaxing stay not too far from the beach

  Liked: The hotel is located not too far from the beach (walking distance) and has a lovely pool. The rooms are spacious, the location is quiet and the property does not have too many rooms, so it never looks too crowded. The people who work there are lovely and always happy to help! Overall it is a very comfortable hotel for a very reasonable price.

  Disliked: Some aspects of the hotel need a bit more care, like outside furniture, cleanliness of the bathroom, quality of the breakfast which could be a bit better. Doors and shutters make a lot of noise and/or don't always close properly.

  Late season self catering stay

  Liked: Comfy beds, good bathroom and shower, nice beach

  Disliked: Offered unit near noisy road, had to request alternative Door handle falls off Dishwasher catches on kickboard plinth, had to remove No plug in kitchen sink, and no hot water Two enormous saucepans, no small ones Only 2 of each crockery item but only 2 dishwasher tablets for the 4- night stay. Have to take items from the breakfast room One hour walk to the only decent supermarket. Only 2 coffee pods provided, no cafetiere No washing up cloth or liquid or scrubber Kettle only works with careful positioning Bedroom light faulty TV has only local channels, and can't access rear to plug anything in Uncomfortable sofa, sticky on bare legs Noisy cleaners carts Bar is closed due to impending end of season Porto Santo is barren, has too many hotels and lacks any history or culture.

  Liked: Location if you want to relax recharge this is the place the food was great and location to the beach a bit distance to centre but if you drive or have motorbike then great

  Liked: - room is an apartment. Huge and cleaned. Kitchen was there. Boiler and coffee maker. Liked the huge bathroom. Room A4 -earlier check in - beautiful swimming pool

  Disliked: - staff at check in not providing helpful information on beach/sunbed/how to move -no indications to go to the beach - no towel provided by the beach of Vila Baleira. Payment of 1 euro after walking 5 minutes instead of having them ready after paying 25 euro for a sunbed with no discount even if part of Vila Baleira group. - road to the beach resort of vila baleira really upsetting - no answers on booking messages since the booking -not enough natural light inside bedroom and no possibility to open the windows panel

  Tinha potencial para ser uma estadia inigualável mas esteve longe de corresponder às expetativas

  Liked: Boa zona e tratamento de piscina, pequeno-almoço bom e completo, lugar bastante calmo. O quarto em que ficámos dispunha de kitchenette, bastante útil.

  Disliked: Na altura de check-in, foi-nos dado um papel com todas as comodidades do hotel, entre as quais espaço fitness (ginásio) e spa, que podiam ser utilizados no hotel principal Vila Baleira. Depois de nos dirigirmos ao mesmo, foi-nos informado na receção que o spa em questão era afinal num outro hotel (Legacy Ithos), e que o valor dos tratamentos spa que constava nessa folha que nos foi entregue já não está em vigor. Portanto, claramente falta de coerência e menus de tratamentos que induzem facilmente em erro. O quarto estava com um cheiro estranho, e os lençóis das camas também. Haviam sinais visíveis de sujidade e falta de limpeza: vidros, armários da cozinha com gordura e marcas, até mesmo a pia da casa de banho com sujidade incrustada no ralo. Para um hotel considerado de 4 estrelas, é inaceitável receber clientes desta forma, pelo que a relação qualidade-preço é completamente desproporcional.
