  Unreliable, unprofessional and badly located

  Disliked: We were never able to access the apartment because the owner lacks politeness, professionalism, and common sense. The address listed on Booking.com was incorrect, more than 500 meters from the actual address (now seems corrected on Booking.com), which was much further from the beaches and restaurants. Since we couldn't find it, I called, and the owner told me she had sent me the address an hour earlier with photos. There was no cell service, so I had trouble accessing the information. I told her it wasn't the address listed on Booking.com, and she got angry, saying she "didn't like my attitude." She claimed that allowing us to check in 30 minutes before the usual time was a big favor she was doing us, now this favor was revoked, and we were allowed to arrive only at 3 PM (even though no one was home the day before and the apartment had been ready for a long time). In the middle of a heatwave, with our heavy luggage, we went to a café and called Booking.com to let them know. Customer service confirmed that we shouldn't be going to a reservation at a false address. The owner called me nonstop until I answered. She repeated that it was the same address, that no one had ever had problems arriving with the details she provided in her messages, and then angrily asked why we still weren't there! I reminded her of the previous conversation, and she told me, "I forbid you to come to my place! This reservation is canceled." So we went to an apartment with less unhinged owners, and it went very well, as usual with Booking.com. The "Charming one bed flat"'s owner kept calling and messaging me the whole afternoon, asking "to start from scratch" and denying her previous tirade. Such an owner doesn't belong on Booking.com. In any case, the people who indicated that the apartment was well-located either lied or have absolutely no sense of direction: it's one of the furthest from the beaches and restaurants.
