Liked: Lapa 84 House is a beautiful, modern home in a fantastic location. It's conveniently situated near both the city center and the beach, making it an ideal place to stay. What I love most about the house is its excellent location. Everything you need is close by, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area. Another highlight is the stunning terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the port and the ocean
Disliked: However, I found the house to be a bit small, especially for a group of four people. The space can feel quite tight, and the sofa bed upstairs is not very comfortable for sleeping. Despite these points, the house does have some great features, like a stunning terrace with a fantastic view of the port and ocean. If you're planning a sta in lovely place and don't mind the compact space, it could still be a good option.
A fabulous house and a very helpful host
Liked: Lapa 84 exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about the house, how it has been renovated and all its facilities, and it was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable, with good quality bed linen, and the house is very quiet thanks to the efficient double glazing. The kitchen has everything you need. There are frequent trains into Porto from the metro station just 10 minutes walk away. Marta's help and advice to my numerous questions was invaluable; thank you Marta.
Disliked: Nothing; everything about the property and the host was great. But some advice regarding parking. There is parking in a lay by on the sea front, just around the corner from the house, only 2 minutes walk away. There is a charge for parking from 9 am to 7 pm and the parking meter is a little walk further down the road so it is easy not to realise that you have to pay a couple of euros to park there. We didn't see.the meter and got a small parking fine ( only 7 euros) that you pay at the local police station. So be aware of the meter and paying when parking.
Liked: Clean well equipped house, close to all amenities, town, train and beach.
Disliked: Poor Internet upstairs.
