Liked: This property is amazing - I have stayed at many wonderful hotels all over the world, but this one stands out as one of the most impressive I have ever been to. The combination of an amazingly beautiful 700 year old grand convent with modern design and facilities, including two pools, open spaces for different type of gathering and entertainment, a great bar and restaurants - we fell in love with this property and could y stop repeating that we wished we would have stayed there longer. This is more than just another “5 star” hotel - this is a different level of experience. The service was extraordinary, with impeccable English and many speaking excellent French too. Just WOW!

Liked: The hotel is exquisite. Every detail is attended to and the staff are absolutely wonderful.
Disliked: We didn't understand why the jacuzzi had cold water.

Liked: We stayed here for a couple of nights after a trip to Porto and the Douro Valley; it was very easy to get to the airport for our early flight. Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless with super comfortable beds. Wonderful spa, I was very impressed by the massage I booked. Excellent breakfast. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Highlight was tasting some of the signature cocktails … probably the best we’ve had! Can’t wait to stay here again.
Disliked: Some of the cushions on the loungers by the pool needed upgrading/cleaning.
