Good
Great value centrally located accommodation for a short stay
Liked: Good sized apartment. Two generous bedrooms with ample storage space for clothing. We were visiting for a friends wedding, in nearby Vairao and visiting friends who reside in Vila Do Conde, it was great to see an ironing board and iron as well, nice living area, fully equipped kitchen also. EXCELLENT shower. Lovely bay windows for sitting at with morning coffee (buy some before you arrive!). Great location near the Ave River, with a 10min stroll to the beach. 10-15min walk from vila do conde tram stop, or 5-10min to santa clara, easy to navigate to from the airport.
Disliked: Toilet seat was very loose and needs replacing. The bedding on one of the double beds was waterproof and noisy, i'd assume that this is where children stay, but we were four adults, who don't quite need that level of protection (Yet!;) ) Flooring needs replacing in some areas as if lifting, could be a trip hazard eventually if not dealt with soon. Neither of these issues effected our stay.
Liked: It waa clean.
Disliked: The windows was hard you work. I wish I knew it was on the 3rd floor since I had luggage.
Modern, well equipped apartment in an unbeatable location
Liked: Very thoughtfully renovated and well equipped. Great location. Clean.
Disliked: We were there during a heatwave, No A/C and only one small fan, another fan for the other bedroom would’ve been welcome.
Great stopover in Vila de Conde
Liked: Cute street with typical Portuguese houses. Modern and attractive apartment. Two comfortable rooms
Disliked: No coffee tabs
Overall very good! Got a good nights sleep and shower
Liked: Liked all the messages on the door, lovely touch! The microwave and fridge are very handy. Good shower and very comfy bed
Disliked: It was really warm but I didn’t mind too much, and the roof is slanted so makes it harder to walk around in, I think with two people it would feel a bit cramped and warm
Enjoyed everything really, lovely old street …. and very pleasant town
