Exceptional
Clean, quiet, spacious, great host
Liked: Spacious, fully equipped two bedroom apartment. Very clean. Very quiet. Safe. The host was awesome - he met with me when I arrived and chatted with me for a bit. He even offered to drive me to the Camino (Senda Litoral) route in the morning, however it was too early for me.:)
Disliked: The place was about 4 km from the centre of town, in a mostly residential neighbourhood. If you're doing the Camino, the Senda Litoral route is far, however the main coastal route is pretty close. Also, being a residential neighbourhood, there weren't any restaurants around. There was, however, a supermarket about a block away, which had a good selection of food.
Filipe and his wife were so kind! I would love to stay here again
Liked: Everything was really clean and comfortable. The perfect stay after a long day of walking.
Amazing host
Liked: The host was amazing. He was super attentive, explaining everything with a great amount of detail. Additionally, because we requested a cot, he prepared a few toys so our baby had something to play with. Finally, just when we were loading the car before checkout, it was raining very heavily, and we didn't have an umbrella. He realized and came to our rescue with a huge umbrella. The property is very well decorated and nice. It had everything we needed.
Disliked: The one thing that could be improved, in my opinion, are the pillows. Pillows are a matter of personal taste, but in my opinion, the pillows were too soft, while I prefer them a bit harder.
Liked: Very nice hosts. Gave us large special Portuguese ”sandwiches”. Minimarket very close.
Liked: The host was so kind & generous & we were made to feel so welcome. Some food available for our meal. Cookies with our cup of tea. Demonstrated use of coffee machine. We even managed 20 mins of yoga during our stay. In the morning we were given a lift to the beach to pick up on the coastal Camino walk.
Liked: the host was unbelievably helpful, drove me to the laundromat, responded quickly to messages, provided some light snacks and coffee.
Disliked: beds were very firm
