  Amazing hosts

Liked: The hosts were amazing. They offered to pick us up which was very helpful and explained the property, making sure that we were comfortable before leaving. The flat is clean and spacious for a 1 bedroom. There is air conditioning and free WiFi that works really well. The tv also had enough channels. The hosts provided towels and linen. There was extra of everything, they also gave us a sweet treat from a very reputable bakery and provided bottled water as well as teas and coffees. One really nice thing to see was that they provided a kettle and oven, not always seen in Portuguese houses.

Disliked: It’s located uphill but that’s normal in Portugal.

Liked: The host was very friendly. The apartment was close to the historic churches and restaurants and it was a great area to explore. However we were there on Friday and Saturday night so if anyone is sensitive to noise there were people outside our door off and on making noise until 3 a.m. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. My husband found the bed uncomfortable and had to sleep on the sofa.

We would be back for sure. Loved everything about our stay, and even got some local pastries gifted

Liked: Great location you can walk everywhere Extremely clean and comfortable Host is very responsive and helpful

Disliked: The rubbish collection happened on a Sunday at 6am and workers were very noisy. Not the owner’s fault, just unlucky for us. Everything else was amazing. Apartment was spotlessly clean.

Lovely central apartment if noise doesn't bother you

Liked: The hosts were very nice and responsive. The apartment had everything I needed for a my stay -- full kitchen, hot water, good bed, etc. It was very centrally located, which was wonderful. I could walk everywhere, no problem.

Disliked: Noise. The problem is that the apartment is at street level on a very busy street with a lovely stoop that families seemed to congregate, which is nice but noisy.. Also, the apartment building next door is multi level, and people congregated under my bedroom window, waiting to be buzzed in. The other problem is that folks seemed to party late into the night, and I was awakened almost every night at 2:30 and 3:30 am. For 4 nights, I did not get a decent night's sleep.
