  Very enjoyable stay visiting friends locally, clean, well maintained rooms, Lovely breakfast

  Liked: Breakfast was plentiful and had a lovely selection to choose from, the staff at Breakfast worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble. Swimming pool was very chilly (October) but the pool area was very well kept and had plenty of Loungers.

  Disliked: Both times I used the bar you had to buzz for service, the 2nd time a member of staff came out and served a man who came after me, nobody asked who was first. I also asked Reception if I could have some milk for my tea and was sent to the bar, they then charged me for the milk!! In a 5 star hotel I would expect milk sachets to be provided FOC

  Great hotel, tremendous views!

  Liked: You would be hard-stretched to find a better place than this in Viseu. The location is great, just outside the old city and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. There is tons of free parking right on site and the hotel is set on a hillside and has expansive views over the valley. Our room was clean, modern, bright, and airy with those great views previously mentioned from our balcony. We had no complaints whatsoever with the room and found it very comfortable to hang out in. We were very impressed with the buffet breakfast – excellent variety of mainly cold dishes and a small selection of hot food. We made use of the gym and found it pretty functional – provided there are only one or two people there – it was tiny and a bit cramped. In fact, there were two gyms, both tiny and with pretty much the same equipment in each one. The quality of the gear was very high – a double cable multigym, a power rack with Olympic bar, and a set of adjustable dumbbells, plus 3 pieces of cardio gear. Overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

  Disliked: The gyms were small a cramped if more than 1 or 2 people were working out.

  Lovely

  Liked: We’ve stayed here before but this time the whole experience felt even better, I believe the rooms suffered a remodel and they were extremely comfortable, quality mattresses, clean room, fabulous breakfast, everything you like name it they have it, staff very kind and professional as usual. We’re definitely coming back!

  Disliked: Nothing, really, there’s nothing not to like but if I had to be picky maybe the pool water could be a bit warmer, and the Turkish bath a little hotter, that’s it.
