  Pleasant stay

  Liked: Great facilities (historic building, big room, good views, quiet and clean). Very good breakfast, plenty of options, including regional flavours.

  Excellent stay

  Liked: Excellent hotel on a beautiful historic site, I have stayed here many times before.

  Disliked: The parking is a bit difficult for people with reduced mobility like myself, but the staff made it easier for me by accommodating me with the handicapped parking

  Liked: Huge room, very large comfy bed, and a superb choice at breakfast

  Disliked: Extremely awkward getting in the bath to shower it was too close to the toilet, and I have reduced mobility.

  Liked: Atmospheric hotel on the edge of the centre. Welcoming staff. Great rooms. Good breakfast. Nice little pool. Ample parking. Short walk to the centre.

  Would definitely return

  Liked: An historic building which has been stylishly restored, within easy walking distance of the old town. The room was large and comfortable with a large balcony. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We did not use either the pool or the spa so cannot comment. We did eat in the restaurant and the food and service were both very good. Easy parking was a bonus.

  Disliked: A small grumble-the bathroom was small and could do with an update.
