  Liked: The hospitality at Casa do Coura is genuinely amazing. The facility is well thought out providing comfort in a beautiful settling. It is extremely clean and quiet with super comfortable beds. Breakfast is outstanding- fresh with lots of options! The location is a bit off the main path, but that is what makes the setting so unique and tranquil. It was a welcome respite on our Caminho.

  Wonderful hosts for a brief stop on the Camino

  Liked: The host was exceptional. She spent a great deal of time showing us the beautiful grounds with fruit trees and farm animals. She went out her way to make us an evening snack and, when we departed from the hotel before the posted breakfast hours, she had left out a wonderful breakfast for us that was so generous that we were able to save some for our lunch during the Camino.

  Disliked: The location is a little remote from the downtown area where the boat taxi crossing into Spain is for the Camino.

  Wonderful property by the river kept immaculate by very nice and attentive hosts. Highly recommended

  Exceptional

  Liked: Spotless, incredibly clean place powered by amazing people! I want to come back. This was our stop along the Camino de Santiago, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest. It’s incredibly peaceful — the only thing we regret is not staying longer. But it’s not just the location, which is beautiful and quiet, with a river nearby — it’s Sandra and Gustavo who make this place truly authentic and unique. Sandra treated us to a lovely breakfast with homemade buns and jam she prepared herself. Gustavo showed us around the garden. These people are truly inspiring and made our stay unforgettable.
