Exceptional
Great apartment
Liked: Nice big and very clean apartment with everything equipped, felt like being at home. Parking is for free and directly in front of the building. If you are a light sleeper, then I would recommend to have your ear plugs with you. (Amazing) Beach is in walking distance and the lighthouse also within 30mins walking.
Repeat visit
Liked: Our second visit to Ap Jarea Playa Sardina, a bright, airy apartment with lots of space for a pleasant stay. Good value for money, the kitchen is very well equipped (extra points for the kettle for tea drinkers) and basics like oil, vinegar, tea and coffee etc, plus we had a gift from our friendly host! It’s a small village with not a lot of facilities so it’s useful to have a car for outings. The beach is good for swimming and snorkelling (weather conditions/tides allowing), we enjoyed watching the sun set over the sea. The Spar at the top of the hill is surprisingly well stocked. Galdar is a short drive away for more restaurants, heritage sites etc.
More than expected
Liked: The apartment has the soul of an... apartment. Very well decorated especially compared to similar apartments we have been at. It was clean, kitchen is fully equiped and there were even coffee, sugar, spices, some biscuits and much more left for us.
A comfortable and stylish apartment in a quiet and beautiful corner of Gran Canaria
Liked: A well-equipped, clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated apartment in a residential block in a seaside village well away from the touristy areas. Communication with the owner via WhatsApp was excellent. Comfortable beds, shower, bath, washing machine and a heated community swimming pool were all appreciated! The beach was nearby. There is lots to see and do in the area if you have a car. Las Palmas is only 35 minutes drive away. Fabulous sunsets!
Disliked: This apartment is at the front of a residential block and near to the entrance, so expect some noises from other residents and the street outside. The balcony is tiny, but the community pool is only down one flight of stairs and it has plenty of sunbeds. Although the apartment has a smart TV, we could not find any English channels, so we mainly watched YouTube. We loved it though and we will happily stay there again!

Liked: Excellent stay! The location is fantastic. The flat was spotless and had everything we needed—and more! Thoughtfully equipped, comfortable, and super clean. Highly recommend!

Liked: Spacious, bright, nicely decorated, easy contact with the owner, fridge packed with breakfast items. Everything you need to have for relaxing holiday far away from busy southern resorts.
