Beautifully and thoughtfully designed villa with stunning village and sea views

Liked: We loved the beautiful decoration and the inspiring details everywhere. The kitchen was very well set up, making it easy to cook while enjoying a chilled drink, and there were so many lovely corners to relax in. Whether taking a dip in the private pool, enjoying the jacuzzi with sea views, or watching the amazing sunsets, the whole house felt incredibly special. We also loved being right in the heart of the village, with the bakery, restaurants and bars, and the church square just around the corner. The welcome was super friendly, the villa was absolutely impeccable, and we almost didn’t want to leave during the day;) Parking was also easy — we usually found a space either directly in front of the house or in a public parking area about a five-minute walk away.

Disliked: We loved everything. One thing worth mentioning for future guests is that the house is spread over four levels, so there are quite a few stairs. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, but it may be something to keep in mind depending on mobility or personal preference. The upside is that the different levels offer some beautiful views over the village and the sea.

Amazing stylish house with fabulous inside/outside living (just not for little children)

Liked: Stunning house with an amazing amount of outside dining and relaxation space. Great attention to design and detail. Perfect views of the town, and across to Tenerife. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. We loved the friendly cat (actually there were 3 of them, early mornings), who made the holiday for our teenage girls who constantly cuddled it.

Disliked: A few of the doors are in need of a Carpenter's visit as they scrapped the floor on opening. The layout of the house is that all bedrooms can only be accessed off the outside terraced spaces - no internal corridors. For our teenage girls this was fine, but I wouldn't recommend for little children if you need to use more than the 2 bedrooms that are next to each other on the 2nd floor. nb. The pool view room is on the ground floor meaning an outside walk down stone steps and alongside the pool is needed to access from the 2 upper bedrooms

Amazing property with wonderful views, lots of space, in great location

Liked: Lots of outdoor spaces across multiple levels to hang out and relax - best of all the roof terrace with amazing views! Also, the kitchen was super well equipped, best I’ve ever seen. Bruno and the team were very nice, helpful and responsive.

Disliked: It rained more than we expected, and a lot of the outdoor spaces weren’t covered to be rainproof - clearly not a problem when you have the typical sunny Canarian weather.

The perfect base for a family holiday, whether for relaxation or exploration. Highly recommend

Liked: A fantastic property that was the perfect location for our first trip to Gran Canaria. Beautiful views to the mountains on one side, the sea on the other, Tenerife in the distance. Well-designed layout with indoor/outdoor section on each level; beautiful planting; thoughtfully-placed mirrors to reflect the views; multiple seating areas for dining and relaxation; comfortable beds; well-equipped kitchen; and not to mention the pool uniquely integrated into the building, which was fantastic for the children! The location was also easily accessible from the airport, and very close to centre of Agaete with a few restaurants, bakery and shops.

Disliked: There was a cat which seemed to claim the property as its territory, as it could easily access the outside areas; while the children loved this and it became a highlight for them to have a ‘holiday pet’, it was not ideal for one member of the party who has a cat allergy. (It was clean and well-kempt, so presume it belonged to a local, but definitely spent most of its time at this house!) However it did not have access to the inside areas so overall was not too much of a problem. It was very interested in our food when we cooked fish and octopus on the barbecue! Otherwise, no other negative points about this property.

    Exceptional

Liked: There are great views from the terrace, the place is super clean, and most spaces feel newly set up. The response from the host was really fast and with great attention. The house is lovely.

Disliked: If there is anything to be considered as less positive, may be the parking, it takes some minutes to get to the house, you need some planning to bring your luggage in, but at the same time, the house is located in a town with narrow streets, which some may love—something to be considered.
