  loved it

  Liked: Location is fantastic if you like a quiet town; we loved it. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Nice pool, plenty of places to park on the road, Spar shop just around the corner, walking distance to the restaurants, port and rock pools.

  Disliked: We asked for more blankets, as the apartment is pretty chilly this time of year. There were only two for the 4 beds. We received a huge explanation of how what we have should be enough, so just this little hiccup. Apart from this, the lady owner is really helpful whenever we messaged her with questions.

  All the ingredients for a perfect holiday

  Liked: Perfectly situated between Puerto de las Nieves and Agaete, the apartment is fully equipped and has a lovely balcony with a great view for eating outside. The swimming pool is excellent.

  Liked: Very relaxing area, the flat was big and comfortable.

  Disliked: Bit difficult to find the keys, as it is in another place. After that, to find the right entrance gate was not easy.

  Do not book this apartment!!

  Liked: Apartment in a pretty, white complex with a nice swimming pool area

  Disliked: Book this apartment at your peril! There is a terrible problem with the drains causing an overpowering sewage smell in the apartment, which cannot be aired away! After two unbearable nights we found alternative accommodation at our own cost and moved somewhere else, regretting the fact we had waited a day for the agency to sort something out. The agency were unable to send an engineer out, nor offer us alternative accommodation as it was a public holiday, despite the fact they run a holiday letting agency. Although they agreed there was a problem, they would also not accept that it was their responsibility to deal with our dreadful situation, regardless of the cause of the smell. We were offered a small refund, which they processed directly with Booking.com without discussing it with us. They are now ignoring our communications with them. The refund didn’t even cover the nights we were no longer there, so we have ended up paying more than pro rata for the two dreadful nights we had to stay!
