  Liked: The beautiful nature of the giant mountains and trees surround this house was beyond any place I have stayed before. The room was fresh, airy and welcoming. We loved the dogs greeting us and the delicious meal provided at the on site restaurant. What a magical stay.

  A unique and peaceful mountain stay

  Liked: This was a truly unique experience, as the property is located almost in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by untouched nature and beautiful mountains. It’s also an excellent base for visiting Añisclo Canyon-just a five-minute drive to the car park. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were very spacious, fresh, and spotlessly clean. We appreciated having a fridge, kettle, and tea in the room, as well as the huge, comfortable bed with a firm, supportive mattress. We also had breakfast and dinner at the property, and enjoying a meal with such an incredible view was a highlight. The food selection was very good, and the dinners were surprisingly sophisticated. One thing to note is that the road to the property requires some driving experience. It’s a mountain road, so if this is your first time driving on one, please be aware.

  Disliked: It’s not something we disliked, but it’s worth being aware that the property is quite remote. Its secluded location is both a benefit and a drawback: if you don’t plan to eat on-site, be prepared for around a 30-minute drive to find other restaurants.

  Unbeatable views, top notch food, and great location for hiking

  Liked: This place is a hidden gem!! It overlooks Añisclo Valley, the view from the rooms and the dining terrace are second to none. You will lose track of time gazing out over the distant mountains! The rooms are very comfortable, clean, well kept and the staff are so nice and helpful (both for our stay and recommending hikes in the area). They even have a couple enormous, beautiful and gentle livestock guardian dogs that hangout around the hotel. They are in fact guarding the local cattle and sheep, which form some of the food at your dinner table! The meals are amazing: fresh and local, grown in their garden or from their own livestock. They are located just 15m drive from Añisclo Valley, with some great hikes, and within 30-40m from Ordesa Valley ridge top, or 60m from its base. Enjoying their paella or grilled meat, with their selection of beers after a long days hike is hard to beat. Would gladly return!
