  Overall: 11/10

  Liked: It is a charming place, we enjoyed much the vibe. The food was just great, surrounding and views simply beautiful. We benefited greatly from the host's recommendations. We do hope to return there one day.

  Wonderful find

  Liked: Very warm and helpful welcome, beautifully restored house, large comfy room. Very small and secluded village. Wonderful sitting areas downstairs to rest, read and relax. Breakfasts and evening meal by Ferran was perfectly judged for us. Garden grown apple juice, tomatoes and home baked cookies with stunning view. Really helpful charging our eBikes. Loads of expert MTB cycling, we found some easier routes. Ztrails app is best for local activities and well marked trails. Perfect place for resting or a base for activities.

  Disliked: Parking is 150 mtrs away so pack thoughtfully, though you can drive closer to unpack once you know where to go. Don't rely on Komoot or Strava as we tried

  The perfect location and experience to recharge your batteries!

  Liked: What a wonderful experience. ☺️ We were looking for a place to disconnect from the stress of city life and found it here. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Ferran and Blanca were the perfect hosts and the food prepared by Ferran was like bring in a private restaurant. One evening we ate a picnic dinner in the beautiful garden overlooking the valley. It’s near to the town of Ainsa and there are several places a short drive to swim in refreshing rivers. A visit to the spa at Panticosa was also five star! Highly recommend.

  Very remote location in a charming setting

  Liked: Beautiful tiny (only 4 families) village with a lot of charm.

  Disliked: The location was more remote than we expected. The room felt very confined in the basement and there was only one small refrigerator for the guests to share and it was packed with beer and wine for sale so there was no room for water to chill before long days hiking.

  Wonderful rural stay

  Liked: Our stay at O Chardinet d'a Formiga was wonderful from start to finish. It's in a charming location in the countryside, with good walks to the church nearby and a beautiful garden to sit and read a book in. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable and the shared common areas allowed us to meet some other lovely visitors and enjoy some local beers. Ferran and Blanca are incredible hosts who provided us with lots of tips and advice for our travel. We would definitely recommend having the delicious breakfast and dinners that are made with local and sustainable products and also, if it's the right time of the year, the hot tub is an absolute treat!

  A delightful rural retreat close to Ainsa

  Liked: O Chardinet d'a Formiga is a delightful, rustic bed and breakfast close to Ainsa. The rooms are clean well equiped and spacious. Breakfast and dinner are prepared from local produce by Ferran, who together with Blanca, provided much useful information on the area. The inside and outside seating areas were very pleasant, with drinks available on an honesty basis and plenty local literature to read.
