Exceptional
Liked: The apartment seems like a maze at first;) but it is easy to get used to it. Comfortable beds, a lot of space to spend time together in the evenings or at breakfast. Great location, walking distance everywhere you need: Santa Cruz, Castillo de St Barbara, city centre, city beach, shops and restaurants.
Disliked: You can hear everything from the outside: people on the streets at night (not many of them during the week, but on weekends it gets louder), neighbours in the morning and at night (e.g.: arguing and having a video conferences on their patio). For people with difficulties sleeping it might be problematic.
Excellent host and very nice appartment suitable for big damilies
Liked: Location, equipment and cleanless
Disliked: Very cold for stay in january and difficult to heat
Apartamento Castillo pleasant stay
Liked: Host was great, clear and pleasant communication about the efficient checkin and checkout process, even approachable with the late checkin and late checkout suggestions. Location of apartment is in the quieter, residential area, close to the transportation to reach everywhere, close 10-15min walk to city center, supermarket close as well. Apartment was clean, spacious, good for value, solid wifi and with well equipped kitchen.
Disliked: Beds were slightly uncomfortable. In one of the bathrooms there was a minor leakage of water, but no big deal and fixable for sure. Kitchen amenities could be changed a little bit. Otherwise a pleasant stay for sure.
nice apartment at a good price
Liked: All family members were comfortable and convenient. The apartment is on the second floor, but it was easy to climb even for an elderly person. The kitchen had everything you need. Excellent oven and washing machine. Wonderful and responsive owner of the apartment, thanks to him for allowing us to stay in the apartment until the evening since we had a late flight.
Disliked: there were not enough air conditioners in all the bedrooms
