Exceptional
Great location and the decor was lovely
Liked: Location was great and inside was exactly like the pictures, host let us drop our bags earlier in the day which was a massive help with many suitcases. Host was quick at replying when fuse blew with too many things on at once. Issue got resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend.
Liked: Lovely apartment, well equipped and air conditioned throughout. Cozy outside area, nice for that late night glass of wine. Close to shops, tram station etc.
An excellent mini break getaway. Beautiful
Liked: The apartment absolutely beautiful. Off a little side street away from the main road, close to everything. Very quiet and calm. The decoration was as the pictures show but even better once there. The outside area was a delight to be in. I was a solo but felt extremely safe.
A clean, well-located apartment with a helpful host, but the comfort was significantly affected by an unpleasant smell
Liked: The apartment was clean, well-located, and overall comfortable. The host responded quickly to messages, was polite, and communication was professional throughout our stay. Parking in the area can be difficult, which is understandable in a large city, but there is a nearby parking garage that was convenient and helpful.
Disliked: During our stay, we found a cockroach in one of the bedrooms and in the bathroom, which was a very unpleasant experience for us and made us uncomfortable using those areas. Although the host explained that this can occasionally happen in central Alicante despite regular pest control treatment, we did not feel that being offered to move out if we were unhappy was a real solution for us. In the end, we decided to stay because we did not want to interrupt our holiday with the stress of moving to another apartment. There was also a constant musty smell in the apartment, although airing out the rooms helped somewhat. In addition, the neighbors were quite noisy at times, which affected the overall comfort of our stay.
