  A great getaway but less convenient for cafes and groceries

  Liked: The host was lovely. The apartment and the whole property was immaculate. There area was private and quiet. The air-con was effective and quiet. The property was right on the beach and the sea was clean.

  Disliked: Best appreciated with a car - there’s secure parking available at an extra cost. Be prepared to walk to restaurants and grocery stores, which are all about 25 minutes away. With the temperature at 30c+ that was a bit challenging.

  Outstanding beach vacation in Alicante

  Liked: Outstanding location! Chalet Roquetes is right on the beach. Quiet and private. We enjoyed the sunrises, and walking to the lighthouse. Beach chairs and beach umbrellas are available. Manuel is a great host who makes you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. We definitely recommend this place.

  Disliked: Public transportation is not super close so we recommend having a vehicle to go places.

  Liked: The fact that it's a beach front apartment made the stay super relaxing. Our apartment felt more private than the sea front apartments. The studio is located at the back side of the property and has its own balcony with table and chairs and sunbeds. They have 2 extra beach towels which is a nice touch. There wasn't much of a cookware choice in the kitchen but we didn't cook so was okay for us. There's a market/bakery/restaurant within 10min walk. Bought stuff for breakfast/lunch to have it in the studio. There are a few stairs to reach the studio where we stayed which it wasn't a problem for us but something to check if you have reduced mobility. There is a communal roof deck where you can enjoy the nice panoramic views or sunrise with a morning coffee. You access the beach through a gate and there's a little tap next to it to wash off the sand and also an outdoor shower at the front porch. You can freely use umbrellas and chairs from the property to take it to the beach. The host Manuel lives at the property, he is a very friendly man and attentive if you need anything. We really enjoyed our stay. If you're driving, there's no parking next to the property but there's free street parking at la calle dorada and it's 5min walk to/from the property. Otherwise there's parking space at the property for an additional cost per day.

  Wonderful stay

  Liked: Beautiful view from the apartment and just everything was perfect for our stay of 6 nights. Manuel couldn’t have been more helpful, especially when we arrived earlier than expected. Several supermarkets within walking distance and a lot of restaurants a short walk down the beach at San Juan. Easy to get tram or bus into Alicante city. Definitely recommend.

  Disliked: We could have done with a dustpan and brush in the apartment to keep the floor clean during our stay.

  Lovely apartment

  Liked: Beautiful apartment with a large balcony overlooking the beach. Within walking distance of local shops & restaurants and close to tram stop for access to Alicante city. Manuel was an excellent host, a lovely gentleman, always on hand to offer advice and have a chat. We really enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

  A wonderful and relaxing place

  Liked: The "Exceptional apartment at LOFT a pie de beach en CHALET ROQUETES" is a great place to stay and relax. The host, Manuel, is a wonderful person, very friendly and helpful. The apartment's location was really nice, right on the beach with amazing view of the sea. Good and quiet place to rest and explore the surrounding area, San Juan, Alicante. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Manuel for your hospitality!
