Great, simple little hotel with a weirdly semi-functional shower

Liked: Europa House Hotel is simple, uncomplicated and had amenities most valuable to me - privacy (private bathroom), well-functioning wi-fi, and an excellent air conditioner.

Disliked: I could not believe that the shower could only be operated on a push-button timer that gave me 5-8 seconds of water flow. That annoyance meant I had to use one hand to hold the button in while the other hand took care of everything else, which made it more difficult and time-consuming than if the shower spigot worked like every other one like it in the world.

  Okay for the value

Liked: Good location. Close to supermarket and restaurants.

Disliked: Major water leak in the hallway so there was a musty odor from water damage

  very okay with notice

Liked: the single room with bathroom is perfect. Quite big and comfortable

Disliked: the shower isn't easy to use since you need to press everytime to have water. And it was hot and couldn't change it. Also there is noise from the street which doesn't allow to sleep well

  Shared Kitchen facility not given

Liked: The cleanliness, support staff and the location were the best

Disliked: The fact that I had given money for shared Kitchen facility as well, but was not given the same...either the extra money given for the purpose should have been credited to my account or Booking.com should give me the accommodation in future at a lesser rate...it was ideally the responsibility of booking.com to ensure what has been committed must be delivered

Adequate. Did not exceed expectations, but was adequate for our needs

Liked: The room was sparsely, but adaquetly furnished. Small additions such as a rug by the beds so that your feet aren't on the cold flooring when you get out of bed would be nice. My bed was comfortable but squeaked loudly everytime I moved. The place was very clean but our shower did not run very hot or for very long. Our son had his own room and said his shower ran great, so may be isolated to our room. The price was a touch high for the modest accomodations but the location was very near our daughter in university, so that was most important to us. The staff on WhatsApp was VERY responsive and that was greatly appreciated.

Disliked: sparse furnishings and shower in our room.
