Exceptional
Liked: Accommodation in the heart of the old town, great location, easy to find, walking distance to most places of interest, just great!
Disliked: At night it's maybe a bit (not too much) noisy on the streets outside of the apartment - there are many little restaurants and bars all around, but we knew about it from the accommodation description, so actually no problem at all...:)
A small but perfectly formed apartment with all you need in the heart of Alicante
Liked: We loved our stay here, it is very compact but has everything you need for a great stay in part of the old town. The apartment was very clean and there were lots of thoughtful touches like water, beer and sunscreen, beach umbrellas and a chair for the beach. Just outside the door there is the beautiful cathedral of Alicante and lots of great bars and restaurants. Communication from the host is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Well-organized and easy to get the keys on the first day. The apartment is well-furnished and cozy—ideal for a beach vacation. It comes fully equipped with bath towels, beach gear (an umbrella, beach towels, chairs, and sunscreen), and fast Wi-Fi. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and plenty of activities, yet the double-glazed windows block out noise effectively so you can enjoy a peaceful sleep.
Disliked: Just a few weeks before our stay, we received a scam message on WhatsApp requesting payment for the booking. The message came from a South American phone number and included our exact arrival dates and times, as well as my private phone number. Although the owner clarified the situation immediately (Xavi replied literally within minutes!), it is concerning that so much of my private information was accessible to someone outside of the owner or Booking.com.
