Exceptional
Perfect for us two old ducks and we loved it!
Liked: Teresa looked after us so well. We arrived very early (stupid o'clock!) in the morning, - the only flight available from Copenhagen - but she had arranged for Carlos, her taxi driver to pick us up from the airport with the keys to get in and the instructions. After we had booked, my Son announced that he would like to join us for a few days and Teresa accommodated him readily for a small charge, with extra towels etc. We had a great stay and the location was literally over the road from the beach - we swam every day! As some have mentioned, the apartment is at the BACK of the block - but, to be honest, that's no bad thing as it is cooler, and much quieter than at the front, and if you want to see the sea, then go down to the beach!! The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen was basic, but perfectly satisfactory and there is a small but well stocked general store just a couple of minutes' walk from the door. We did quite a lot of cooking and managed very well. We had very little to complain about really; maybe the lighting could be better and warmer - all the lights were pretty cold LED types and not very pleasant on the eyes, but this could easily be sorted out with some warmer light sources and lamps. The resident upstairs from us was a little noisy and stomped around their flat with what seemed like boots on, but this was not any fault of the soundproofing, really, just that they were very heavy-footed. So, all in all, a lovely stay and we would certainly return. Thank you, Teresa and it was a pleasure to meet you!
Disliked: As above, the lighting was a little bad, but easily fixed with some better quality lamps and light sources.
Perfect stay in Alicante
Liked: Teresa was extremely helpful and responsive - a fantastic host. The apartment is excellent and has all the the facilities you'd want. The air con is very cool which was a plus! The apartment is close to the beach, the old town, and there is a tram station close by. We would definitely recommend.
Great location, spacious apartment, highly recomended
Liked: We had a great stay at this apartment in Alicante. The location is fantastic – just a 2-minute walk to the beach across the street, and right next to the lift to the castle. The city center is only about 5–10 minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars all around, and public transport connections close by. The apartment itself is very spacious for two people and comes fully equipped with everything you might need, including a well-stocked kitchen, washing machine, and even an iron. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay close to the beach and the heart of Alicante!
Disliked: The only downside was the quality of the bed. It felt a bit narrow for two people, and instead of a duvet there were only blankets, which from a Central European perspective seemed a little unusual. Perhaps this is common in Mediterranean places, but towards the end of September a proper duvet would have been more comfortable. The pillows could have been better too. Overall, though, it’s a great place to stay if you want to be close to both the beach and the city center.
