Fabulous
Liked: Everything about Casa Mare is there to make for an exceptional stay, plenty of space with that wonderful terrace/balcony, right at the beach, close to many good and inexpensive restaurants and bars, a good supermarket right at the front door. The compact town is right beside with a maze of interesting narrow streets and places to visit. Would recommend to all.
Disliked: Only one tiny complaint would be that there is no large mirrors in the bedrooms, otherwise all brilliant.
Balcony is great but I would not recommend this apartment
Liked: The location is great and the balcony is wonderful.
Disliked: The apartment has a smell to it. Bathroom fans and heating ducts are filthy and emit a smell. The oven switch is broken so it can’t be used, and the shower heads need to be fixed. Sofas are dated and uncomfortable.
Liked: The location is central and the balcony is superb. It's spacious and comfy. The kitchen is well equipped: knives are sharp, there are frying pans and pots. There is a Tassimo coffee machine thought there were only a few capsules and they were the cheapest. The chairs and table were comfortable to sit and dine. The bed is very stiff which I like but many would disagree, I guess.
Disliked: The check-in was a bit stressful since the woman didn't understand English at all and kept pointing at things speaking Spanish. She told me neither how to operate the sun shades nor if the tap water was drinkable. The apartment has a strong smell inside mixed with the air freshener. My tip for future guests: keep all the doors shut at all times and give living space a good ventilation by opening the balcony. The air-conditioning is central and unfortunately also adds some smell. The balcony sun shades are hard to operate – they would benefit form a lick of oil. The kettle was dirty. The tap water has a taste to it. The rooms have just one or two lights inside so in the evening it's quite dark inside.
Great stay in a great town
Liked: Wonderful views and very nice, clean apartment. Close to castle, museum, park and the beach was right there. It was a little cool to use their deck much, but most of the year it was be wonderful with a tremendous view over the ocean.
Disliked: The noise from the 3 or 4 clubs out front went pretty late a couple nights. Small things like an improved shower would help. And the oven was broken, but I presume that just happened and will be fixed in short order. The microwave worked fine.
Liked: the location is excellent
Disliked: furniture wearing out a bit, and no parking!
Place to stay 100%. Amazing experience
Liked: The location of the place is amazing. It is very close to the beach and different bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The patio is one of the highlights.
