Great apartment with wonderful terrace
Liked: This is a large apartment with a fully equipped dining kitchen and 3 bedrooms. The owner opens up the bedrooms for use according to the size of the party staying. But the show-stopper is the wonderful terrace with magnificent views out towards the Sierra de Grazalema. I could happily sit and look at that all day, starting with the stunning sunrises. The location is good; it's a 5 minute walk to the bars & restaurants in the old town which does involve a short but very steep bit of road. But let's be honest, everywhere in Arcos involves a steep hill at some point! The apartment is spotlessly clean and feels like you're staying in someone's home rather than a charachterless rental. There's air-conditioning and good wi-fi. Have stayed here several times and it's the first place I look for when visiting Arcos. The owners also offer parking somewhere nearby (for a small fee) but I'm too scared to drive anywhere near the old town (narrow narrow streets!) and prefer to dump my car down in the new area of town..

Liked: Excellent comms with owner. Awesome terrace with great views of El Torreon. Very comfortable sofas.
Disliked: Master bed (Iron room) had broken/missing slats, so ended up rotating base to avoid falling through base. Very noisy air con unit in living room. Some outdoor furniture broken and in need of replacement/repair. Mould on bathroom tiles - needs a deep clean.

Liked: Extraordinary view from the terrace. Especially at dawn.
Disliked: Getting to the house is kind of a bit tough but it is absolutely worth it

Liked: Charming house, clean, comfortable and convenient for the old town. Lovely terrace. Excellent value for money and Rosa Maria was helpful. We rented a garage to park motorbikes 130m from the house.
Disliked: Narrow streets if coming by car
Fabulous flat with spectacular terrace in the heart of the old town
Liked: Very spacious, spotlessly clean and well stocked flat with incredible, large terrace with fabulous views out to the Sierra de Grazalema. Kitchen has a full cooker with oven, plenty of crockery etc and a large dining table. There's also a large dining table out on the terrace. Flat is all on one level, so no stairs to navigate to access the terrace (as is the case with most of the flats where we've stayed in Andalusia).
Disliked: Nothing, although it should be noted that you can't drive a car right to the door (narrow streets - and I mean NARROW) and the apartment is located either up or down a very steep hill, depending on which side of town you arrive from. Not a problem for us as we've been to Arcos many times, but might be a bit of a shock for first time visitors if you're not familiar with the place.
