Exceptional
Not pleasant at all
Liked: Whatever was good was overshadowed by the attitude of the owners.
Disliked: The attitude of the owners was awful. When I arrived within the 1 hour slot given upfront and called them from the gate the owner tried to explain something in Spanish although I said I do not speak Spanish. It turns out he did not want to come out and open the gate and wanted to explain to me how to open it by myself. The morning when I was checking out the electricity disappeared and when I texted and emailed no one was reacting (although they have read the text) I had to call and the wife said she will check. She came personally to say she does not know what to do and her husband is not home. No saying sorry or anything. She saw that I was leaving and said that it is not important. But I was leaving because there was no electricity and the apartment was boiling hot. I wanted to be in a quiet place but the village is quiet as well, I should have rather stayed there. For me it was an unpleasant experience.
Beautiful, friendly and rural place to stay
Liked: Amazing location for climbing in the El Chorro area. Near Ardales (walkable or a 5-min drive) and all the places we wanted to go were within half an hour’s drive. Lovely quiet area Super nice and friendly family Well-equipped kitchen Good shower Comfy beds
Disliked: A bit of noise at night but mainly because it was really windy! So there was something banging around.
Liked: The size. This is way better than staying in a hotel or hostal.
Disliked: I like everything.

Disaster! The host didn't answer my questions (up till now) which were crucial for my stay
Lovely apartment near El caminito del Rey
Liked: The apartment is wonderful. Very well equipped, clean and cozy. Very quiet neighbourhood. The owners live the next door and if you need anything they're there to help you.
