A beautiful apartment within the walls of Avila
Liked: The apartment is in a quiet area in Avila, just inside the walls, there were plenty of free parking spaces nearby, which was ideal. The views from the windows are amazing, being able to see the medieval walls, and the decoration and style of the apartment was beautiful. The apartment had everything you needed to be able to prepare food, and tea and coffee. It was all very clean, well maintained and comfortable. It would have been nice to have had air-conditioning, as it was very hot during our visit to the city, but there was a fan which helped us keep cool. The host was very cordial, and it was simple and quick to get the keys and access the apartment.
Disliked: The only thing I could really mention as a negative aspect to our stay is that the bed was very small, it was ok for my wife, but for me, being 192cm tall, and there being a metal guardrail at the bottom of the bed, it was very uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep, (maybe removing the metal guardrail would give you that extra space for your feet). If you are tall, just keep that in mind. A part from that, everything was fine.
