Good
Great value stay good quality basic facilities and great staff
Liked: The staff were friendly, helpful and communicated well. The location is great, opposite the parador inside the wall. I loved the shower, it was like a mini sauna. The great value meant I could stay longer in Avila.
Disliked: There is noise from the street from cars during the day but it’s quiet at night. I slept very well and used earplugs just in case.
An overnight stop on a longer journey
Liked: I managed to park just outside in a disabled bay. Otherwise it's quite a long way to find overnight parking. I was late arriving but the receptionist stay on duty until I arrived.

Liked: Boa localização. Os funcionários eram muito simpáticos. O quarto era grande e confortável.
Disliked: A funcionária não falava inglês, mas era muito simpática e prestável. O quarto era um bocadinho quente de mais.
Good but remove stating it has kitchen
Liked: Great room, great bathroom and easy for the city centre. Says there is a kitchen, but in fact all of it except a microwave is completely for staff only. This MIS-sells the whole property
Disliked: Corridor smoke smell. Not sure why as it’s a hotel and surely against the law.
Liked: Fantastic location, very nice room perfect for a short stay. The first time my husband has stayed in a hostel. He was very impressed. Lovely staff very helpful.
Disliked: Not a thing.
