Fabulous
Great location in the heart of the old city walls and very comfortable accommodation
Liked: Breakfast was very good & the location was excellent
Disliked: The rain (not the fault of the Parador)
Loved the place, its history, its ambience and the walks that flowed from being there
Liked: Wonderful location, in the heart of the old city, a walk to almost all the main sites, a classic early 20th century Parador so full of charm and history
Disliked: Parking inside the building was a challenge, logistically and then space wise. Dinner was excellent, but we ended up with a plate we didn't order.....
Great location but at a cost
Liked: I liked everything except there was no temperature control in the room. It was quite warm. We had to sleep with the windows open.
Disliked: There was no temperature control in the room. It was quite warm. We had to sleep with the windows open. This was the last week of October. The food and drink were very overpriced.
Liked: This was an authentic Spanish experience with modern convenience. I loved my room overlooking the rose garden.
Disliked: No coffee in the room.
Liked: Central location within the old city walls
Disliked: The hotel was very busy and they were not able to give us breakfast reservations
As comfortable as ever. Despite lack of kettle would stay again
Liked: Location, excellent staff, ambience. Consistent with other paradores we have stayed at
Disliked: Really important to us is being able to make a hot drink in the room. Not even a kettle let alone tea or coffee. This is out of step with almost every other hotel we have stayed at on our holiday in Spain. It’s time the Paradores woke up and joined the 21 century.
Good to know
