  Liked: It was so nice to have a room to myself with a double bed, with my own bathroom. Nice hot shower with good water pressure.

  Disliked: If the window wasn’t open, it smelled a little bad, it reminded me of clothes being left wet for too long, but with the windows open, it was okay.

  A relaxing place to stay

  Liked: The hostel has beautiful gardens where you can relax. Our room was very comfortable and everything was spotless. We had a double room with a bath which was also very relaxing. We also had a spacious balcony. The owner/hostess was friendly & helpful. We highly recommend the Hostel Santa Marta Playa.

  Disliked: We would have liked a small kitchen where we could prepare food. The owner did give us a kettle so we could make a hot drink.

  It was a good stay

  Liked: It was just off the main road but not right on it and there was a good restaurant next door. From my balcony there was a good view of the bay.

  Good value, great location

  Liked: Amazing location 2 mins from the beach. A cosy, cheerful spot - ideal for one night. Well served with neighbouring bars and a short walk to the historic centre

  Disliked: Bathroom a little dated & could've done with a bit more soap & shampoo after a long day on the Camino!

  I would do it again and again without the bug bites

  Liked: Close to everything, and easy access to food and stores along with beach. The host is super kind!

  Disliked: I got lots of bug bites and still dealing with it after 10 days after the Camiño.
