Good stay
Liked: Easy to find location right on the Camino way. The house is with the interesting history and well maintained. There is a vending machine and coffee machine inside, so if you arrive late, you can still buy smth to eat. They also provide an opportunity to laundry. However, adjust your expectations about rooms or bathrooms design. Facilities are clean but modest.
Amazingly Unique Hotel with History & Architectural Flair!!
Liked: The history & architecture of the facility, a former convent with several foot thick granite walls, was fascinating! Not a wide variety of restaurants nearby, but we rediscovered Pizza Hut out of desperation, and had a WONDERFUL BBQ ("Barbacoa") chicken Pizza and COLD Estella Galicia beers which really hit the spot! I would happily stay here for consecutive nights for 3 or 4 days while exploring the area, if time permitted!
Disliked: We left the big window open all night. Dogs in the area (the neighborhood is quite densely populated) barked all night, but we were so tired & had ear plugs, so no big deal.
Liked: Stayed 2 nights here on the camino. It was a great place to relax and refresh. Close to great bars and restaurants. The sea was a 5 minute walk away and the washing and drying facilities were an additional bonus.
Liked: We stayed at Pazo Pías for two nights while walking the Camino de Santiago. We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful old building. Having access to a washing machine was especially helpful after several days of walking. We also used the shared kitchen, although it could have been a little better equipped. The location was convenient, with supermarkets nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
