  Alta House Hotel Apartments Begur

Liked: Location of the apartment is close to the centre of Begur town, reasonable easy access, second time we have booked here and once you know you need to go to the hotel and get the key card its simple - hotel a little challenging to find as its very subtle entrance. Good communication with the hotel, before and during... easy to get hold of via whatsapp messaging, good base to venture out from

Disliked: parking is mainly possible in the free carpark a good 500m walk away, can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but alternative parking to pay also located reasonably close, good solid front door but the internal flights of stairs to first and second floors partially helped with some rope bannisters... could do with more installed, tough with cases... hotel could have been more helpful as welcome cleaning pack and towels provided for short stay, we were there a week and would have to go to the hotel to swop towels if we desired... they could have been changed at the same time the other two apartments were regularly vacated, and we suffered from noisy neighbours several nights well into the early hours, hotel agreed to take this up and supply notices for future tenants... the apartment did have a broken shower wall (covered over) and several walls that paint was peeling off in the kitchen, could do with a good re-decorate

  A brilliant place to stay

Liked: Keys were collected from the hotel, which was a few streets away and then we were given directions to the apartment, which was conveniently situated near to one of the main squares and a short walk to the castle.. The apartment was great-spotlessly clean, lots of space, stylish, well designed and with ample kitchen equipment. The laundry facilities were very good. The pack containing dishwasher and laundry tablets, washing-up liquid, plus dishcloths was a good addition,. The bed was large and comfortable. The design of the apartment meant that at night the bedroom felt cool, away from the heat of outside and most light was blocked out, leading to a relaxing sleep. The large, private courtyard was a real bonus; you could sit in privacy, leave laundry to dry, and feel it was completely safe. We would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely stay again when visiting Begur.

Phenomenal and Camille is the perfect host. We will definitely return to Alta House if we are in the area again

Liked: Perfect for our needs, comfortable, very clean and in a great location in Begur. Great terrace area with views of the Castle and sunset. Beneficial that it is part of the hotel, because Camille was so helpful with taxis and advice.
