A good stay in Begur
Liked: Excellent location in the centre of Begur, just a couple of minutes (uphill) walk to the town. The apartment was a great size, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms spread over two floors. The kitchen was a good size and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The parking was a bit tricky, having to collect the keys from the hotel (very close) but nearly impossible to park. My advice would be to park at Parking P3 and walk to check in at the hotel then take your luggage to the apartment via an alleyway between the car park and apartment (only about a three minute walk). The apartment has a coffee machine but doesn't provide pods. Also has one sofa but only enough space for two people to sit. Also they do not provide tea towels, salt, pepper or oil for cooking.
Good value for money
Liked: Good value for money. Not the best place we stayed in but more for the house itself than anything. Big enough for 3 people and great location to go anywhere in Costa Brava
Disliked: The house was quite old and you could hear neighbouring rooms as close as if they were in the apartment which woke us up.
Liked: Lovely place, close to everything with parking close.
Disliked: The shower was a bit lacking in power.
Great location and nice, big apartment but for the price would have expected everything to work properly
Liked: Great location within the old town, walking distance to both the castle and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious for 4 people and well equipped. It also has good heating. Super clean. The ladies from reception were amazing explaining and guiding.
Disliked: The blinds in the living room were not working, we called to report it and but they were not able to fix them, they apologised but unfortunately this directly affected our sleep since bright light was getting into the room upstairs as there’s no door. They didn’t offer any refund or compensation for the inconvenience.
Liked: The location is good!
Disliked: Be aware when selecting the rooms, we had accidentally booked the apartment with only 1 double bed and a single bed, even though we were 4 people - the pictures are misleading! There were no beach towels or a kitchen towel.
