Liked: We recently completed a two-week trip across Italy and Spain, and our stay in Begur, Costa Brava was the highlight of the entire journey. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Costa Brava region. What truly stood out was Xevi's exceptional hospitality. He showed genuine care for our comfort and well-being throughout our stay and and took extra effort to accommodate our requests. His kindness and attention made a real difference. Thanks to Xevi's warm and attentive hosting, we felt completely at home and were able to enjoy a relaxed and memorable stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Begur and would gladly return in the future. Thank you, Xevi, for making our time in Costa Brava so special!

Liked: Pretty and very well presented. Lovely sunny balcony for evening meal. The host was very helpful.
A pretty little house by the sea
Liked: Sweet, tidy little house near the sea. Decent aircon/heating and WiFi. Xevi is a friendly, attentive host. Nearby Begur is a lovely place. The coastline is beautiful. There are nice beaches and towns a short drive away.
Disliked: The steepness of the locality is very challenging if, like my mum, you have mobility issues, so be aware of that. Even the beaches are down steep steps and that limited our experience unfortunately. The area is purely for tourist accommodation, yet there are no shops, cafes, coffee shops or independent restaurants within pleasant walking distance, so you have to use the car and drive up steep, winding roads. For that reason we found the locality quite boring. Parking would be an issue in season. We were pleased it was quiet when we went because the house terrace is directly overlooked by apartments. Not quite what we were expecting. The house would benefit from more comfortable seating for a group and the mattresses are hard.

Fornells is picture perfect and the house was nearly perfect to match
Liked: The location was perfect, and there was plenty of room for our family-4 adults. The terrace was a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening games.
Disliked: Honestly our only complaint are the beds, which were quite uncomfortable. As a result, we didn’t sleep well while staying there. But we made up for it by taking long naps on the exquisite beaches nearby.
