Exceptional
Liked: Location is wonderful
Great location
Liked: The location is really beautiful which is the main asset of the hotel.
Disliked: The rooms are very basic and small. There is not much service to expect
Kiwis OE
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: We arrived and were told the restaurant was closed till March and that was a big reason for booking. The room also didn't have the facilities mentioned on the site and the room was small with little room to put all our luggage. We did not stay here and found something nearby that was of a much higher standard and had a restaurant. Fortunately the cancellation fee was waived.
Liked: No welcome, no information, restaurant was closed with no suggestions of where to go. No messages were replied to until I cancelled. Extremely poor service
Disliked: Nice spot
Disappointing
Liked: Beautiful location. Two great staff members running the hotel.
Disliked: We had been so looking forward to staying here especially because it was off the beaten track but had a highly rated restaurant on site so that we wouldn’t have to drive back up the winding road into Begur to eat. Sadly, when we arrived, we discovered the restaurant had been closed without us being informed. Other guests were as upset about this as we were. It seems that some changes have taken place at the hotel which have resulted in an exodus of staff. This also meant that there was no proper outdoor lighting in the evenings resulting in the outdoor area being quite difficult to negotiate and giving the hotel an eerie vibe. The two staff members still on site in the mornings/early afternoon are doing an awesome job with breakfast and room cleaning. This seems extra sad when you read previous reviews about the hotel.
Great location and fabulous friendly staff
Liked: Staff so nice and friendly. Great location just on the beach. Restaurant was great.
Disliked: Room a little noisy, could hear guests/staff/general noise from the restaurant.
