  Dirty, strong bad smell, and unhealthy air quality made the stay impossible

  Disliked: Very disappointing stay. The house was extremely dirty, with black mold in the bedrooms and bathroom, and a terrible, persistent smell throughout the property. Even with constant ventilation, the air quality remained very poor and did not feel healthy or safe to sleep in. Bedrooms are downstairs and were especially humid, damp, and unpleasant. We eventually left three days early because we could not rest properly and moved into a hotel. Basic essentials such as toilet paper, soap, towels, and properly fitted bed linens were missing. Beds were not made, and linens were only found packed in a plastic bag and did not fit properly. Many kitchen items were dirty and sticky, and there was even a large bird nest inside the kitchen extractor hood. Most outdoor furniture was broken or rusted. Although the pool was enjoyable for the children, the overall condition of the property was unacceptable. Unfortunately, the host and management company did not acknowledge the issues. The landowner changed our status to no-show in Booking so that we can not write a review but the booking supported us in the issue. The region itself is beautiful, but this accommodation was a very poor experience and not recommended. We knew the house was old, but we could not imagine it would be in such an unhealthy condition. Overall, a very poor experience and not a place we would recommend.

  Comfortable, clean house near to all amenities - no frills!

  Liked: This is a very functional house with good accommodation and well equipped kitchen, nice pool and plenty of sunbeds. There is a very nice outside eating area on the terrace and also off the inside lounge area, and from that space there is a lovely view over to the sea. The property is well located for the beach, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and nearby places of interest. There are nice walks locally in the pine forest. There is a double garage. It is a good house for a family holiday very close to all amenities.

  Disliked: The communication on the day of our arrival was not good - we were not sent the key code and had to wait around outside the house until the owner picked her telephone up. We had expected to receive the door code via booking.com much earlier in the day - this wasn't very convenient as we had a baby with us. The house is clean and comfortable but it is looking a bit "tired" I would say and could do with an upgrade - perhaps a bit of decorating and some new mattresses, pillows and sheets - these all looked very old and well used and not very inviting.
