Fabulous
A really lovely place to stay in beautiful Begur, Costa Brava. We will be back
Liked: This is a lovely and comfortable, spacious property that has charm and style about it. Very well equipped with kitchen appliances and pretty much anything you could want for a great stay. Denise and Rupert were lovely hosts. We loved our stay
Disliked: Not much to dislike but it is a little bit of a hike up and down the stairs to the nearest beach. You need a car if staying here.
A quiet place from which to explore the Costa Brava with great outdoor spaces and welcoming hosts
Liked: Our hosts were very gracious and welcoming, with thoughtful touches like pet bowls, fresh flowers and a chilled beverages and treats. The setting is lovely. The terraces were like outdoor living rooms - very well organized, private and generous. Kitchen counters and appliances and cooking equipment were wonderful.
Disliked: Bathroom needs attention/repairs. Kitchen cabinets need to be replaced and moisture better managed throughout.
A lovely break
Liked: A wonderful welcome with the wood burner alight, a bottle of fizz and a hot water bottle in the bed! Denise and Rupert were always ready to help.
Disliked: Lots of locks and keys for security.
Liked: The hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful, and our late arrival was no problem at all. We were warmly welcomed with chilled champagne, soft drinks, fresh bread, cheese, and snacks, which was a wonderful surprise. The house is clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and feels very homey. We especially appreciated the beach equipment provided, such as a sunshade, cooler, snorkeling gear, and toys. We had a great time here and would be happy to recommend this accommodation to others!
