Very good
Luxury room
Liked: Staff were helpful, spoke English. Very nice large clean room with mezzanine, watch your head for the beams! Shower was amazing (on-suite) 2 tv's in the room, fridge. Breakfast included. The area was lovely to walk in. An old textile factory next to the river.. Easy walking distance to the town, which is bigger than you think or a walk along the old train line.
Disliked: Air con didn't work. Light bulbs were missing or didn't work next to the bed, hence mind the beams. The restaurant although nice the food was disappointing, especially the price.
Very accommodating & helpful staff
Liked: Convenient, superb staff very helpful
Disliked: Poor Wheelchair access to restaurant & to hotel entrance. Small double bed, would have preferred two singles.
OK for an overnight stay
Liked: Spacious room & comfortable beds. Quiet although very few people staying.
Disliked: Location. The property is located on the outside of the town. We were staying on a Monday night and arrived to be told the restaurant was closed. The nearest place to eat was a drive away and we weren’t happy to leave our dog in an unfamiliar place. The only food delivery available was a pizza which I don’t eat. Ended up with fruit & chocolate for supper which we had with us!After travelling all day it would have been nice to have a proper meal. I think it was on the expensive side for what was on offer.

Disliked: The bathroom ceiling was a little mouldy
Very welcoming, warm and cosy staying at New Year
Liked: The underfloor heating and the bath. The location just off the motorway but far enough you couldn’t hear traffic. Got a drink in the bar next door. The Spanish breakfast was perfect.
Disliked: Nothing.
Extremely disappointing hotel stay
Liked: The old school traditional style of the hotel. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Basic Spanish breakfast.
Disliked: We had to change our room four times because the bed covers and sheets in the first three rooms allocated to us were covered in various human hairs. In the second room allocated to us (in addition to several hairs in the bed) the refrigerator, when opened, stunk of rotting fish. It was filthy.
