  Good general facilities in the complex but the accommodation was very disappointing

  Liked: The food and service at the Restaurant was great. The was perhaps a little limited but we really enjoy the food and location

  Disliked: We paid a premium price and expected 1st class accommodation with no expense spared. However the TV was tiny and completely inadequate for such a large room. The Sun loungers were old uncomfortable plastic, no cushions. Evan fabric loungers would have been better. The hot tub needs a cover to avoid rapid water evaporation and temperature decline. The tub had to significantly topped up every day or it fell below the minimum level and stopped heating. As a result the water was cold most of the time and there were few occasions when it reached a temperature that was pleasant to use. This was a significant disappointment. The kitchen was poorly equipped. Very few pans and trays for cooking, in fact no baking trays until we phoned to ask for one. The bread toaster was from the 70’s! It was an old model that only toasted one side at a time and had to be watched the whole time to avoid bread burning, unlike a standard pop up toasted - which costs next to nothing! The fridge freezer desperately needed to be defrosted and was lined with ice. A modern coffee maker that uses pods would have been good. An old filter coffee maker was again very outdated given the price paid.

  Liked: The largest apartment we have stayed in on this trip. Liked being away from the bustle of Estepona and Marbella. A choice of 3 swimming pools was great and the views from the large patio are were awesome. Full kitchen and laundry were a bonus.

  Disliked: The apartment was not particularly clean- had to wipe benches and wash dirty glassware. The floors were also gritty in some parts. This was despite having to wait until well after 4pm to gain access, apparently due to housekeeping/cleaning.

  Liked: The apartment had 3 bedrooms, but I was alone. So it was understandably spacious. I was visiting my son and his family, so I only used the accommodation for sleeping. However, I can imagine using it when my daughter and her family visit her brother. There are 2 pools, a games room and the balcony is huge. I will return!!!

  Disliked: Lack of tea towels. Sounds pedantic, eh? That is the extent regarding what I didn't like. On a more serious note; the double bed had 2 single mattresses instead of a double. That is it.

  Liked: Great location. Spacious rooms.

  Disliked: Furniture is a bit basic but you get what you pay for. Shower gel/shampoo are in 2 very small bottles per person bathroom so one should carry their own.

  Overall it was good with basic amenities in place

  Disliked: Difficulty locating my flat. Didnt have a car, no help with luggage initially, dragging luggage trying to locate flat. Eventually got some help though after walking round the villa to locate the apartment
