  Great hotel, great service. Would definitely recommend

  Liked: Great value for money, was really happy with hotel. Staff were great, really helpful & friendly. Breakfast was great too.

  Hotel with a nice view

  Liked: The hotel is nice and clean. The bed is comfortable, good variety of food selection. The view is amazing from the balcony.

  Disliked: Our room was loud even late at night from the group of ppl staying at the lobby. Also the location is quite far from everything.

  Excellent weekend break at the Benalma

  Liked: Lovely rooms. Good facilities. Food was excellent. Lively entertainment in the evening.

  Disliked: No snacks between 3 and 5pm if you were out in the day and needed a later lunch. This is a small thing though.

  Liked: The staff, the views from rooms and dinning room.

  Disliked: Shower pretty poor. No safety handles for getting in and out of bath for showering. The bath edge flooded. Two shower heads, only one worked, the other dripped cold water when showering. No plug in event of wanting to take a bath. Generally needs urgent update.

  A very disappointing end to what would have been a lovely stay

  Liked: Selection of food at each meal was very good, very enjoyable.

  Disliked: The attitude of the reception staff. On our last day we noticed our rucksack was missing from our room. We had seen it the previous day but now it was nowhere to be seen. We went to reception and told them only to be told that we must be mistaken and had left it somewhere. We told them that in the 2 days we stayed there, we had not used our rucksack, that it was only used when we were travelling. They didn’t believe us. We went back to our room, our daughter who was staying in a separate room came with us and all 3 of us did another thorough search. It was not in our room. We went back to reception, saw a different member of staff and told them we wanted to report it missing. They said they would look into it. We went back to reception an hour or so later and were told that they had checked with the cleaning staff and had been assured that the cleaning staff had not seen it. We told them that we were not happy with this and they told us they would keep looking, yet they still gave the impression that they didn’t believe us. About 3 hours later a member of reception staff came and told us rather excitedly that they had ‘found’ our rucksack, when we asked where they said ‘in you room’! Thus member of staff along with the reception manager then took us back up to our room and there ‘miraculously’ sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe was our rucksack. We told them that it definitely was not there before but was told that they trusted their staff completely and that the cleaner had been with them quite a while. Although we are in our twilight years we are both sensible and have all our faculties, but they made us feel as if we were stupid. It was incredulous really that they thought we could miss something the size of a rucksack sitting in the bottom of a wardrobe (which was not where we had placed the rucksack the previous day).
