Fabulous

Good place to stay in the city

Liked: Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. breakfast was good. dinner in the restaurant was just o.k. not a great location for restaurants and bars.
Disliked: nothing comes to mind
Very good location, comfortable room with everything you need
Liked: It was a comfortable room, with a big comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The water pressure was very good. Kitchen area with a fridge and dishwasher and everything you need. It’s a good location, nice and quiet. The beach is only 5 minutes walk away and the old town is about 20 minutes. There is safe parking out the back. Quite easy to get to from the highway.
Disliked: There is a washing machine and dryer on site, which is always handy. The dryer, which cost $4 each time, was not effective at all. We put our washing on twice and it was still wet.
We are not getting back
Liked: Parking is very good. Staff woman in the reception were very kind. Breakfast good. Location easy.
Disliked: An absolutely overwhelming fragrance pollution hit us as soon as we entered the reception area! My throat and eyes reacted immediately. There was a machine in the lobby spraying a “floral fragrance” throughout the entire hotel lobby. The scent was extremely strong. The overpowering fragrances in the lobby were not enough! We discovered that the staff also spray the same fragrance in the guest rooms. All three of our rooms absolutely reeked of this horrible scent. We had to leave the windows open all day while we were out exploring the city just to make the rooms bearable. Even the bed linen had been sprayed with the same product. If you have any sensitivity to fragrances (and you don’t even need to be particularly sensitive), do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances.
