Liked: A wonderful stay in a great location! The accommodation is right in the city centre. The airport bus dropped us off almost right outside the hotel. For those planning to visit other cities, you can also take the same bus to the INTERMODAL bus station. This accommodation is an excellent starting point for exploring the city. The Guggenheim Museum is just a 6-minute walk away, as is the riverside promenade leading to the Old Town, the market, the theatre and other museums. The sightseeing boats also depart from a pier just 11 minutes away, so you can enjoy seeing Bilbao from the river! Alameda de Recalde is full of lovely cafés where you can have breakfast, as well as bakeries, bars and other places to enjoy a drink. Another great advantage is that there are supermarkets right across the street, where you can buy bottled water and fresh fruit for snacks. At the intersection of Alameda de Recalde and Gran Vía, you will also find plenty of shops for a bit of shopping. We loved everything about our stay! We had a few specific requirements when choosing our accommodation: a lift, cleanliness, comfortable beds and pillows, good soundproofing, a reception desk, housekeeping, a kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and easy access without having to enter codes every time. We were happy to find everything we needed here. Check-in was straightforward, and getting into the building and our room was easy and hassle-free. As we visited in October, everything was perfectly comfortable for us. If you are planning to stay during the summer, you might find air conditioning useful. We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience! Bilbao is such a beautiful city, with the river adding to its charm. The hotel and its staff played an important part in making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Liked: It’s so close to everything; Guggenheim, shops, amazing cafes, dinner spots and a nice walk to the old town.
Disliked: It was quite loud at night, but it’s okay because we brought our earplugs:)
