Great location & a great price
Liked: Very clean and very spacious.
Liked: Special shout out to Azucena (Lily) who was managing the front desk. Our flight from Bilbao to Paris was canceled at the last minute and she went through extraordinary efforts to find us an alternative means of travel.
Great spot in Bilbao to access everything

Liked: Fantastic central location. Very quiet and comfortable. Great public parking close by. Loved our stay.
Disliked: Lack of signage on the street, a bit difficult to locate.
Good location but would be uncomfortable in hot weather
Liked: Location was excellent in the old town.
Disliked: Lack of A/c resulted in the room being stuffy - only a fan provided. Also noise from upstairs apartment was loud when people walking round upstairs.
Being in the Casco Viejo was great, convenient for so much
Liked: It was in a very central location on a pedestrian street in the Casco Viejo. Near to the Metro station, Lines 1/2, the Cathedral, the Plaza Nuevo and the river. Lots of eating places nearby. A short walk over the bridge to Abando, many buses, including the local service to Guernica, and the Gran Via with many large shops including El Cort Ingles. A walk along the river to The Guggenheim.
Disliked: The room was very small, but quiet, on the inside of the property and it was very dark. When I stayed at Ariaga two years ago I was in the main building, with a bigger room, a communal kitchen and views over the streets.i I booked my reservation and thought that I would be there, so the change was a disappointment. The same street but a very different ambience.
