  Mood Bilbao

  Liked: Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and the location of the appartment is great. Walkable from the city centre, with escalators or a lift available to get up the hill if needed. Excellent and cheap public transport links if you don't want to walk. There are plenty of lively local bars and plentiful shops around the apartment too.

  Liked: Lovely apartment. Very comfortable and thoughtful. And a very helpful host. Custom place to leave luggage. Great location - metro sop 2 mins, 10 mins into old town. Walkable too.

  A highly recommended apartment

  Liked: This is a lovely apartment in a quiet area. We arrived in the night and the initial impression of the area was not good, as there are graffiti in the street and skips in front of the apartment block, but when we went inside, the apartment is light and airy, and very welcoming. In the morning the area looked much nicer and is very safe, with a supermarket located conveniently just round the corner; and we realised that in Spain, graffiti are everywhere! The apartment is within easy reach of the historical centre of Bilbao, the Guggenheim, and the train and bus stations. We walked everywhere, but a tramline passes close by for those who do not wish to walk. The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow and access to the apartment was without problems. We appreciated the complimentary tea/coffee and snacks. The bedroom was good sized with plenty of wardrobe space and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. We did not use the washing machine, but one is available. We had a bit of a problem with opening the safe after we locked some things inside, however the owner replied immediately to our message and solved the problem remotely within a few minutes. We would definitely stay again in this apartment!

  Disliked: The skips in front of the block resulted in some early morning noise, however this was minimal and there is good sound insultation in the bedroom, so this is a minor point really

  Perfect home away from home

  Liked: Ana, the host was quick to respond and help with any requests. We thought the umbrellas were a nice added touch, especially as travelers it is an item you don't generally pack. The beds were comfortable. The apartment was well stocked. The heated towel bars in the bathroom dried clothing quickly. We wanted for nothing. Thanks.

  If had to go back to Bilbao, I’d come back to the same apartment

  Liked: Well communicated with city centre, brand new, extremely clean and well organised. The host very helpful ( even brought us a mixer to prepare our baby daughter meals). First time we do not have a issue in a tourist apartment. Highly recommendable
