Exceptional
Liked: Beautiful hotel in the hills northeast of Bilbao. Easy to find, and as convenient as can be expected to drive in and out of the city for a few days. Unlike many places in Spain, good reliable air conditioning. Note that the “Family” room is just one room, so no privacy for anyone sleeping in either of the two beds. Hotel restaurant was good, not great, but good value.

Liked: When we first arrived the reception was welcoming the pool was lovely and relaxing. The food was delicious and the wine very nice. The room was fabulous with spectacular views. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. If we are over that way again I know where I will be staying. I highly recommend it
Liked: Although it was not why we chose the hotel it is an excellent base for coming to or leaving Bilbao. Very handy for the airport without in any way feeling like an”airport hotel”. Nice indoor pool and classy pitch and putt attached
